A look at something a bit different.  What are your responsibilities as an administrator or manager if you discover a colleague is conducting self, or auto-experimentation?   Is it ethical? Is it safe? Has it been reviewed? What are the implications for others in the department?  Help with navigating the challenge that this poses.  In just 40 minutes, we take a close look at what it means, and how to give it fair consideration.    Self-Research – auto experimentation  Delegates will receive a case study to consider and asked to note their comments. If you are the only participant, what are the issues? What considerations need to be given? followed by    A short presentation on self-experimentation – is it safe? Useful? Do the ends justify the means? What consequences could there be?    And finishing with  Round table discussion, Q and A, Consensus.
