ARMA Introduces Support to Attend Bursary for 2025 Conference

To continue our commitment to making ARMA events as inclusive and accessible as possible, we are delighted to announce the return of the Support to Attend bursary for 2025. This initiative is designed to provide financial assistance to early career RMA professionals and individuals with caring responsibilities who wish to attend the ARMA Conference in June.

The bursary offers up to £500 in financial support. While this is not a free conference ticket, it is intended to help members who already have or can purchase a ticket (either through their institution or personally) by covering additional expenses that may arise.

These could include travel or care costs or even enabling a partner to accompany you to care for a young child.

Travel and accommodation costs will be covered in line with ARMA’s expense policy which will be provided to the successful applicants.

Testimonials from last year’s recipients:

“The bursary for the ARMA 2024 conference allowed me to attend the conference as it covered the cost of travel and accommodation. The conference allowed me to expand my knowledge, learn about best practice and innovation. It gave me an opportunity to learn about interesting products that can support research management. Among the sessions that were particularly useful for my job role were the SIG sessions and the presentations on CAPE. I would recommend the ARMA conference to anyone working in the areas of research impact and management."

“The “Support to attend ARMA” bursary is an important initiative. Without attending the conference I would not have gained insight into a variety of issues facing the sector. It was incredibly useful to hear about the experiences and models of best practice used by other practitioners, and think on how this information could be applied not only to my current role, but also to make informed decisions about the most suitable routes to develop my career.
