Matthew McCallum

Matt is the Manager of the Institute of Cellular Medicine at Newcastle University (UK) where he supports a broad portfolio of research predominately in translational clinical medicine. Since joining the HE sector he has worked in a variety of roles latterly as a senior manager at Sunderland University before joining Newcastle University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2017.

His professional interests include the assessment of multi-dimensional research performance, value for money in research, professional ethics, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and organisational development, also sitting on the Professional Development Group of the Association of University Administrators (AUA).
