Claire Hawes is Researcher Development Adviser at the University of Aberdeen, with responsibility for the provision of personal, professional and career development training and opportunities for researchers. Her research on the history of Renaissance Scotland provided many opportunities for public engagement, including an AHRC Cultural Engagement Fellowship which she held in 2016.
