Alison is currently a Research Ethics and Governance Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University. her current role largely involves ensuring  the University complies with the Concordat for Research Integrity, but she also acts on behalf of the University Sponsor for all research submitted via the Integrated Research Application System (IRAS) both before application submission (at some points from the bid stage), and until the research is complete. Alison is also a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in Health Research. She has worked as a research nurse on international CTIMPs, as well as coordinating RCTs and CTIMPs within a Registered Clinical Trials Unit.
