Valerie McCutcheon has over 18 years’ experience within a Higher Education Institute.  From 2000-2012 she led developments to the University of Glasgow Research System and fostered linkage of the repository with other core systems.  She currently manages Open Access, Research data management, and reporting of research outcomes to funders.

Her work history includes managing information for land and seismic surveys, oil wells, clinical trials, and software houses.

Valerie’s roles include Chair of Research Excellence Framework Data Collection Steering Group, Champion of the Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA) Open Access Group Special Interest Group, and past chair of CASRAI UK.
