Nelisha is General Manager of the South African Research & Innovation Management Association. She holds an MBA degree from the Gordan Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria, South Africa) and has spent a decade in the South African innovation space, primarily in state owned-funding entities that support the development and commercialisation of South Africa’s S&T research base. Nelisha is overseeing SARIMA’s input to the DFID-funded project ‘Strengthening Research in Africa’, working in partnership with Research Consulting to identify the interventions needed to create an enabling environment for research in low or middle income countries.
