Helen is a Research Policy Officer at the University of Manchester. Her role is currently focused on international research collaborations, with a particular emphasis on due diligence processes. Prior to joining Research Services, she managed the administrative systems at UK-Med, a medical NGO based at the University of Manchester. This included helping to coordinate responses to Typhoon Haiyan and the Ebola Epidemic in Sierra Leone. Helen graduated from Cambridge University in 2004, after which she spent five years living and working in Italy. She has a Masters in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from the University of Manchester.
