Genna is the Engagement & Impact Facilitator within Research Development & Support at Bournemouth University. She is responsible for supporting BU academics to develop research impact through meaningful engagement with external stakeholders. This includes leading BU’s major engagement events, supporting REF2021 impact preparation and working with academic colleagues to deliver and evidence impact. Since graduating, she has worked in a number of knowledge exchange and communications roles, including at the ESRC Centre for Population Change and Higher Education Academy. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, playing netball and dog walks at the beach.
