Experienced team leader and Research & Business manager supporting the development of strategic programmes and projects, in pursuit of innovation and research excellence. Camelia is the Head of the Research Development Unit at Coventry University where she has worked for 10 years in a number of research and business development roles. Previously Camelia has worked in technology transfer at The Open University and, as a researcher with a PhD in Biosciences (Nottingham University) and 8 papers in Nature-group journals. Camelia is an expert evaluator for the European Commission and part of scientific, trade and research management network. She enjoys running.
