As the Head of Research Development, Christie is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of RCA’s research support, covering everything from both researcher and research development, research policy, reporting and evaluation, and REF2021 preparation.
Before joining the RCA in 2015, Christie spent four years at AHRC, where she was the Creative & Digital Strategy and Development Manager. Christie also spent a year as a Research Base Liaison Manager at Innovate UK, working with UK Research Councils and other stakeholders to maintain strategic relationships and linking research with innovation.
