Having qualified as a librarian I worked in public, college and specialist university libraries covering a range of services from housebound reader services through to electronic resources. Following a career change, I worked in academic development supporting projects funded through teaching quality enhancement monies, before moving to research and setting up the Research Office at Arts University Bournemouth. I was seconded to the REF as a Panel Secretary for REF 2014.
