Clare has over 20 years of experience in Research Support in a Faculty with a substantial and complex research portfolio. Her current team includes University and NHS governance administrative support, the Graduate School team and support for consultancy but she works with pre and post award staff particularly supporting complex contracts with a significant clinical element. She works closely with NHS partners in Leeds and West Yorkshire to put in place effective governance processes not only ethics but also finance and contracting. The QA for clinical trials team is led by her but delivers a regulatory service to both the Leeds Teaching Hospital and University and has been subject to a recent MHRA inspection. She has been a member of ARMA for many years and has in the best presented on the experience of working with the NHS and developing joint office structures.
