Manya Buchan joined the Pure team as a Product Manager in 2014, and along with the other members of the Product Management team, is responsible for new features developed in Pure, including Research Assessment functionality and support for Open Access. Prior to joining Elsevier, Manya was the Head of Research Policy and Planning Services at the University of Edinburgh, acting as the business lead for the procurement and implementation of Pure, and managing the University’s REF2014 and RAE2008 research assessment submissions. Manya has a BA (Hons) in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
