Emma Bowen is the Research Development Manager for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health at Durham University. Prior to this she was the Assistant Research Funding Development Manager for Science, Agriculture and Engineering at Newcastle University and also spent time on a secondment at Newcastle in the role of School Research Administrator, dealing with the pre-award coordination of grant applications, REF, Impact and Open Access. Before getting into Research Support, Emma was a post-doctoral researcher in Environmental Engineering, also at Newcastle University.
