Elid Morris heads up the Research Grants Office within the Department of Research & Innovation Services at Cardiff University, which is responsible for the Pre & Post Award functions for research and services projects. Over the last 19 years, Elid has undertaken a number of project development and management roles in the public and voluntary sectors with a focus on external funding in the areas of economic development, community development, regeneration, social housing, and skills development. These roles have involved the development of organisational external funding compliance strategies and leading on external audits. She has also undertaken advisory work on regional development programmes in Estonia and Slovakia. Prior to her taking up her role at the University, for 5 years Elid managed the first Regional Skills Partnership in Wales. Elid is a PRINCE 2 practitioner and is currently on the final stages of her PhD in the area of Public Sector Collaboration in Wales.
The Post Award Special Interest Group (SIG) was established in September 2015 and incorporates the previous TRAC and fEC SIG.
