With 35 UK customers of U4 RCP Nick and Adam explore the challenges, benefits gained and future plans of the largest UK research solution community. Experiences will be discussed from the very largest research intensive institutions, traditionally teaching based institutions increasing their research income and small specialist institutions.
Key Learning Points:
In this session we will explore and share what has worked and not worked at other institutions who have implemented new research management systems in order to compete better on the world stage, improve success rates and drive efficiencies into their research lifecycles. We will also look at the differences between centralized research administration versus devolved and personal administration of research projects by academics and researchers.
